Your data stays yours. This Privacy Policy applies to Easy Peeze Tools and all products we operate:

- Pdf Buddy — Windows desktop PDF editor
- Kharch Log — Android expense tracker (kharchlog.in and related apps)
- License / payment services that unlock paid plans
Kharch Log users: this Easy Peeze Tools policy is the canonical privacy policy (replacing older kharchlog.in-only wording).
1. Who we are
Easy Peeze Tools builds small, focused apps. Support email: easypeezetools@gmail.com. Product sites: easypeeze.com (Pdf Buddy & company) and kharchlog.in (Kharch Log).
2. Our privacy motto
- Pdf Buddy — core PDF work (edit, merge, split, compress, sign, OCR, unlock, convert) runs 100% locally on your Windows PC. Your PDF files are not uploaded to Easy Peeze servers for those tools.
- Kharch Log — expense rows sync to your Google Sheet in your Google Drive when you choose Sheets sync. We do not sell your ledger.
3. Data we process
3.1 Account & licensing (both products)
- Google account email — used to sign in, verify license, and (for Kharch Log) connect Drive/Sheets.
- License / plan status — whether Pdf Buddy or Kharch Log is free-tier, yearly, or lifetime (stored in our license backend so the apps can unlock features).
- Payment metadata — if you pay via Razorpay/Cashfree (or similar): payment/order ids, amount, and email you entered at checkout. Card data is handled by the payment provider, not stored by us as full card numbers.
- Support messages — emails you send to easypeezetools@gmail.com or product support addresses.
- App / device signals (limited) — e.g. app version, platform (Windows/Android), approximate IP for abuse prevention and license checks, crash reports you choose to send.
3.2 Pdf Buddy (Windows)
- PDF file contents — stay on your device for core editing. We do not host your PDFs for those workflows.
- Local preferences — e.g. guest mode, daily free-edit counters, UI prefs stored on your PC.
- Free tier — limited daily edits (currently 3 per mode) tracked locally and/or via license checks tied to your account after sign-in.
3.3 Kharch Log (Android)
- Expense data you enter — amounts, categories, payment modes, comments, person name, salary keyword, etc.
- SMS content (auto-capture) — if you grant SMS permission, the app reads relevant bank/UPI messages on your device to draft expenses. Matched details go into your review inbox / your Google Sheet. We do not upload raw SMS to an Easy Peeze content server for sale or ads.
- Google Drive / Sheets — a Kharch Log folder/sheet under your Google account when sync is enabled. Scope is typically limited (
drive.file/ related scopes you approve). - Microphone — only if you use voice add; speech uses on-device / OS services.
3.4 Websites
easypeeze.com and kharchlog.in may use standard hosting logs and optional analytics (pages visited, referrer, approximate location). We do not sell browsing data.
4. How we use data
- Provide sign-in, licenses, and paid unlocks
- Operate Pdf Buddy and Kharch Log features you enable
- Customer support and fraud/abuse prevention
- Improve reliability (e.g. crash reports you send)
- Comply with law when required
We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
5. Sharing
- Google — Sign-In, Drive/Sheets (Kharch Log), and OAuth tokens as required for those features.
- Payment processors — to complete checkout.
- Infrastructure — cloud hosting for license API / websites (e.g. Google Cloud / GitHub Pages).
- Legal — if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Anyone you share your Google Sheet with can see those expense rows — that sharing is under your control.
6. Retention & deletion
- Pdf Buddy — uninstall removes local prefs; your PDF files remain wherever you saved them on disk.
- Kharch Log — uninstall removes local prefs; your Google Sheet remains in your Google account until you delete it. Revoke app access at Google Account → Third-party access.
- License records — kept as needed to provide paid access and prevent fraud; contact us to request account-related deletion where applicable.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures for license and website systems. No method is 100% secure. Prefer strong Google account security (2FA).
8. Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13. Do not use them if you are under 13.
9. International users
We serve users worldwide. If you access from outside India, you understand data may be processed in India and by subprocessors’ regions.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
